Atlantic City Bus Trip

The residents came out in full force for our First Annual Atlantic City Bus Trip! (We will be having another one In the Spring for those that missed the last one!) We managed to raise over $1300 for the children's playground fund and had an unbelievable time while doing it! (Word of mouth is wonderful advertisement, as we have had calls from folks that did not attend asking when the next trip was!)

We had a couple of big winners on the trip, so that even made it better! Thank you to the Lake Shore Moose for allowing us to use their parking lot for parking and pickup for the event. Also, thank you to Jane Huffman for coordinating the trip.

Fire Prevention Week

October 9 - 15, 2005
"Use Candles with Care"
When you go out, blow out!

The use of candle in the home are on the increase and with that comes the increase of home fires caused by careless use of candles.

Crop Till You Drop!

The All-Day Scrapbooking Crop was a great success last Saturday. Forty-five ladies gathered at the Long Point Hall along with their suitcases filled with photographs and scrapbooking supplies for a 12-hour scrapbooking day.

Many thanks to Norman and Jane Huffman, Bill Markley, Skip Mosmiller, Amanda and Dean Jerosimich, John Spiker, and Millie Lang. A special thank you to John Spiker for preparing dinner for the ladies, and to Norman and Bill for entertaining the ladies the whole 12 hours!

Forget Something?

Did you ever feel like something is nagging at you? Have you checked and double checked everything that you needed to do, but still feel like you have forgotten something? Well, maybe you have. Did you send in your BPIA membership dues? The cost is only $35.00 for a regular family membership and $75.00 for a boater's membership. Without these funds, we cannot continue to improve the community and have future events that you, as a BPIA resident, can enjoy. Please send in you dues and get on board the BPIA Funride! We hope to see more residents at the meetings and upcoming events!

Thank you, Donut Shack, for supporting our Atlantic City Bus Trip!
