Community Meeting

The next community meeting will be held on Monday, March 7, 2005 @ 7:30 P.M. at the Clubhouse. This meeting will also be the Annual Boater's Meeting to review the new rules and regulations. There will be NO February meeting.

Christmas Party

This year's Cookies and Cocoa with Santa was a huge success! Many boys and girls came out to get a peek at Ole St. Nick himself. Thank you to all the families that donated cookies for our event; Santa actually went back to the North Pole with a bellyache! A special "thank you" to Gary and Peggy Moore for donating our new Christmas tree and all the beautiful decorations.

This year, we adopted a family through the A.A.Co. Holiday Sharing Program. Boulevard Park residents should give themselves a pat on the back for their generosity toward our adopted family. We were able to make three little boys wishes come true.

Note: The last newsletter stated the donations would be given to the House of Ruth, but I was informed by them that they only take cash donations, so with this, I would like to apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

BPIA Website

We have stepped into the 21st Century!!! We have contracted Andy Mosmiller to develop and maintain our community web page. Our web page address is www.blvdpark.org. The page is still in the process of being developed and we are very excited. We are hoping to publish the history of Boulevard Park on the web page, so if you know anyone who can give us any interesting stories or facts about our community, we would greatly appreciate it.

Improvements to the Boating Area

A suggestion was made to fix the boat ramp turn-around before the opening of the new season. We will be getting bids for these improvements within the next couple of weeks, so the work can hopefully be completed before the middle of March. If you know any asphalt contractors that may be interested in giving us a quote, please have them contact at (410) 437-3564

Vandalism in the Community

This is a serious problem in our community!

We are offering a $50.00 reward for any information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone destroying community property.

We cannot win this battle without the help of ALL Boulevard Park residents. The children of this area are destroying the park area. This is a place where you should be able to take your family and have a picnic or play on the playground. But, with the current state of the property (trash, grafitti, etc.) you can not.

It is your responsibility as a resident and as a parent to know where and what your children are doing and with whom they are doing it with.

Again, if your child is caught vandalizing community property, you will be held responsible for the damage. We are asking that you take pride in the community... Your community!
